THE PURPOSE OF LIFE

The Purpose of Life

Who am I?

Where do I come from?

What am I doing here?

Where will I go from here?

These are the four basic questions of life; the foundation of all religions and philosophies. One thing all human beings agree on is the fact that there must be a hidden meaning and purpose to life, no matter how much these secrets elude us. Over the ages, those who dared to search for this meaning and purpose have always found at least a part of it. It is this discovery that made them geniuses, saints, heroes, giants, kings, inventors and conquerors. They found the Truth, and the Truth set them free, and their fellow men have always been all too glad to ‘canonize’, immortalize and even idolize them.

Whoever you are, where ever you are, you too can reach the top. You can be so rich that you will be able to buy anything your heart desires without feeling any pinch. You can be so good at your job that it will take you no time to become the boss, or begin on enterprise of your own. You can be so healthy that months and years will pass without your needing to see a doctor. You can be so excellent in your academic performance that jobs and scholarships will be there waiting for you even before you graduate. You can have so much peace of mind, self-confidence, courage and freedom that you will never again know any doubt, fear, limitation or defeat.

You are a child of the universe, the manifestation of the One who is the Source of all life, and the summit of creation. There is a definite purpose for which you were created. Life itself is a perfectly ordered system. It knows no chaos or accidents as exemplified by the visible universe in which the planets, the seasons, the trees, the rivers, all follow a definite pattern of rotation, revolution, flow, growth and change. You are part of the great whole. Therefore you are operating within a system of law. Disobedience of the Law, through ignorance is hell; obedience of the Law through consciousness or awareness, is heaven. You best know where you belong, because you certainly know the difference between what you are currently experiencing and what you really want.

Life is an eternal flow towards increase. The mechanism of life is that of growth, change, development, advancement. Human history bears testimony to this truth. Man once lived in caves, feeding on raw animals and fruits. Today he lives in mansions and selects and prepares his food through whatever modern method he chooses. Man used to go naked and on foot. Today transportation has evolved from boats, ships, and automobiles to airplanes, while clothing now goes beyond merely hiding his nakedness to the display of art, style, fashion and luxury.

In the early 20th century, the richest man on earth was counting millions of dollars and in fact there was a famous saying in those days that, “you can’t make a million dollars without being a criminal”. Yet by the close of that same century countless people – even youths in their twenties were making millions, while the richest man had more billions than he knew what to do with.

The number of people living on planet earth today is more than the population of the world from creation right up to the 18th Century.

If you have ever heard of Thomas Edison, Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein, then you would probably have heard also that in recent times, man has unraveled more of Nature’s secrets and enriched his life with more inventions than in all of past history.

Do you still have any doubts about the Law of Increase? Then you may be able to give another explanation as to why fertilized eggs become embryos, then babies, then boys and girls and finally men and women. You may be able to explain otherwise how comes that a seed falls to the ground and soon becomes a shoot, then a tree that bears hundreds of fruits that produce hundreds of other seeds.

Life is never static. It is a constant motion, an uninterrupted flow toward more life, more abundance, more beauty, more fullness, and more expression. The desire for more, which you feel with every breath you take, is nature’s urge to become more through you. Believe it or leave it. But it remains true and works for the good of those who understand it and for the destruction of those who are ignorant of it.

Desire, is the still small voice of the Infinite Spirit, articulating through you, the urge of the universe to unfold, reveal, express and manifest its Infinite Abundance through you. You are the channel or vehicle or dynamo through which Invisible Reality becomes visible reality. You are the Instrument of the Divine Will, which is the fountain of life. Through Conscious Recognition, you become one with this Divine Will, and your daily experience becomes the automatic self-expression of All Abundance.

Life is the automatic, eternal and omni-active outpouring of The Infinite Spirit. The Father and I are one; I am the Word made flesh. It is the Father Himself that worketh in me to will and to do. Therefore I am the embodiment, incarnation and materialization of Infinite Spirit, and I am now radiating energy, strength and vitality.
